The Elbrus Traverse expedition of Alpindustria and the climbing company "360-expeditions" had successfully reached the aim - the Western Elbrus top 5642m! It was led by the guide team of Sergey Fursov, Roelof Hedzer Oostra è Daniil Timofeev.
The team reached the summit of Elbrus or the altitude on Elbrus slopes:

Gurinder Dhaliwal 4600 ì 27.06.14.at 2 pm
Ralf-Olof Rosenlew 5350 ì 29.06.14.at 10.18
Roelof Hedzer Oostra 5642 ì 30.06.14. at 10.40
Katie Johnson 5642 ì 30.06.14. â 10.40
Kamaldeep Kaur 5642 ì 30.06.14. â 10.40
It was the expedition by the route "Elbrus Traverse from the North to the South" - the second attempt.
The first attempt was not successful - because of the stormy wind and nasty weather the expedition team could only pass though the Elbrus saddle from the Northern side to the southern bottom.
At the Pastukhov Rocks 4800m they were met by a snowcat and taken down to a hospitable Ozon Cheget hotel....After a short rest and a sauna 4 people decided to have the second attempt on the climb.
And today the weather was absolutely friendly and the group succeeded in reaching the European highest top - Mt.Elbrus Wetsren 5642 m at 10-40 am.
We are greeting and congratulating the team with the best finish of the climb!
