Skiing season: January (last Sunday) till mid April 2012. Trips start on Sundays.
We suggest you join the Heliski project in Arkhyz. Heliski in this region is considered to be the most interesting and amazing. Professional heli-ski guides will escort the program participants and provide safety while snow descents.

Arhyz is a cozy ski resort with a smooth lone of the slopes, wide valleys and mild climate. Several vast skiing zones, short approach flying time inside the region, not high altitude skiing zones make the skiing and snowboarding more comfortable. There are ten skiing areas that occupy more than 150 sq. km with approximately 6 km long down-runs and with the elevation changes from 1500 m to 800 m. You may try the heli- riding with our guides down the virgin snowy slopes of the most beautiful region of the Western Caucasus.
We fly a legendary helicopter Alouette III SA316B by Eurocopter.Besides the pilot in the cabin there is place for up to 4 riders and 1 guide. The technical qualities of the aircraft, its flexibility, the pilots` skills (Heliaction pilots passed the special mountain piloting courses in New Zealand in 2008 on the helicopter SA 316, in the Northern Swedish mountains in 2009, staging in the Swiss company AIR Glacier in 2010, and have more than 600 flying hours in the mountains of the Caucasus) and our guides` skills allow us to use the flying time rationally. Special aircraft devices (a winch, an outer hook, special stretcher , etc) will provide safety while running the heliski project.
Hotel. Accommodation. It is a private hotel in a quite part of Arkhyz. At the hotel there are a fireplace hall, sauna, Russian pull, Internet coverage. Transfer to the helicopter site takes 10 min to drive.

General Conditions. In the weather conditions are favorable all the participants can make all the descents declared in the program. However we can not guarantee this, and the descent number can be less due to the weather conditions, for instance.
We assure refund for the non-flown descents because of the bad weather or other force-majeure conditions.
